The Concours International de Danse Entrelacé is open to the disciplines of classical dance, modern jazz, and contemporary dance, as well as character dance in the duo and group categories. It aims to promote, share, and celebrate the art of dance while creating connections and "interlacing" students, dancers, teachers, and dance professionals in France and abroad.
This competition offers dancers from various disciplines a space to express themselves through their art and passion, while acquiring a solid foundation, in-depth knowledge, and stage experience that is essential for their development as artists.
The Concours International de Danse Entrelacé is open to all dancers aged 8 to 25 years, in solos and groups, regardless of their institution (Conservatory, Municipal Dance School, Private School, Association, in professional training, etc.), and regardless of their nationality. The accepted disciplines are Classical, Contemporary, Modern Jazz, and Character dance.
A candidate can perform a maximum of four times (solo, duo, and group).
The pre-professional categories are dedicated to candidates enrolled in special school schedules such as "Danse-Études/CHAD" or those with intense artistic activity, with more than three classes per week.
Candidates in professional training or preparing for the EAT exam must register under this designation.
Candidates who won a gold medal in the leisure section the previous year and wish to participate in the 2025 edition of the Concours Entrelacé must register in the Pre-Professional Section.
For groups, two categories are available:
Variations imposed by the Ministry of Culture or other competitions are not allowed.
The decision of the jury is final. Scores are calculated by computer at the jury's table. The jury will deliberate in private.
Scoring will take into account technical level, artistic expression, musicality, originality, as well as the relevance of the choreographic idea in relation to the age of the dancer(s) and the use and integration of fundamental techniques specific to each dance discipline.
The jury may reclassify candidates into the "Pre-Professional" category if it deems their practice level corresponds to this category.

To ensure everyone's comfort during the competition, you are allowed to film your own child, but taking photos is prohibited. Photography throughout the event will be handled by Sud Reportage.
By accepting these rules upon registration, you acknowledge that you grant the organizer "Concours Entrelacé" the right to use the image of your minor child or that of the adult participant in this competition.

Candidates must be placed in the category corresponding to their age in both individual and group entries. All categories and disciplines are open to both female and male candidates.
For groups, a tolerance of 3 candidates outside the age range is allowed, provided that the group's average age falls within the category’s range.
It is recommended that the choreographic creation is unique and adapted to each candidate and each discipline; otherwise, each piece may be presented by a maximum of 3 different students.
